The best way to teach children to care for the environment as they grow is by immersing them in nature. Pioneers will participate in a variety of activities designed to inspire curiosity, build essential skills, and nurture a connection with the natural world. Activities include hiking, water exploration, shelter building, gardening, bird-watching, plant identification, field journaling, and more—all tailored for children ages 5–6.

Program Details

• Ages: 5 through 6 years old*

• Spring Session Dates: March 3, 2025 – June 5, 2025

• Schedule: 1–4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday)
  (You can choose one, two, three, or all four days, but your child must attend at least one day per week.)

• Hours: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM (4.5 hours per day)

• Commitment: 13 weeks

• Membership Fee: $60 per day

• Location: 550 Snake Den Road, West Milford, NJ

Payment Terms

• A 15% deposit is required upon registration.

• Monthly payments will be automatically billed.

• Siblings receive a 5% discount.

You will receive an invoice after your registration is accepted.

Important Notes

• This is a drop-off program. Please arrive a few minutes early to drop off your child so we can start on time.

• Pick-up is promptly at 2:00 PM.

• If your child falls outside the 5–6 age range and you feel they would thrive in this program, please contact us for an individual assessment.

• No program on May 27, 2025 (Monday)

• No program on May 23, 2025 (Thursday)
